Vita

Jan Walczewski - winning photographer specializing in landscape, fine art and architecture photography.

His fascination with art, especially painting, has had a huge impact on his way of photographing. He often experiments with lenses that he has constructed or modified himself, which allows him to achieve a more painterly and abstract effect without digital manipulation, as exemplified by the extraordinary landscapes from Tuscany, Italy.

His minimalist seascapes are a particularly valued series of photographs. Photographs from the series "Silence" and "Clouds and the Sea" are in private collections in the United States and Europe. The "Horizon" series was presented at an exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Art in Toruń (Poland). He lives in Warsaw.
