At this price level, granite works in sizes that no longer lift with two people are conceivable. The stone is sawn with diamond tools, worked with compressed air and finished by hand. Polished, red, gray or black tones gain enormous depth, while flamed granite looks warm and rough. Figurative works such as statues usually stay simplified, because hard stone allows fine detail only at great effort.

Plan the transport beforehand: large granite pieces need a crane or pallet truck and an access route that can bear the load. A foundation of gravel or concrete prevents sinking. Frost and rain do the stone no harm, and moss and lichen are more a matter of taste. Clarify type, weight and kind of surface in the description before you decide.
