One movement, one sheet
The minimalist monotype is a single breath of color: a stripe, a veil, a field. Minimalist monotypes are for sale here, each sheet made in one pass.
Because the plate is pulled only once, every irregularity carries meaning. The edge of the paint, the fine grain in a gradient, and the spot where the paper first touched the plate are traces of the moment.

Stillness on the wall
Such a work unfolds in calm. Place it on an unobstructed wall, say above a bed or a desk, and leave room all around. Natural tones in the frame support the muted color.
Narrowing and checking
The interplay with acrylic yields matte, even areas. If you wish to limit your budget, a look at work under 500 euro helps. Ask about the paper, because with little image, the surface carries decisive weight. With light tones in particular, check for yellowing and freedom from stains.
