Color as construction
Reduced composition meets strong color: modern color photography lives on surface, line and a single accent of color. Modern photos in color are for sale, also from 500 to 1,000 euro and 1,000 to 2,000 euro.
In modern color photography color is treated like a building material. A yellow on a wall, a turquoise in a pool, an orange on a staircase: edges are sharp, surfaces clean, the rest stays restrained. If you plan to collect several motifs, watch for a related color world so they fit together as a series later on.

An accent for clear rooms
The picture acts as a color event in a reduced room. Hang it above a sideboard or on a free wall. Repeat the hue sparingly, for example in a cushion. The result is an interplay without unrest.
Print and paper choice
Saturated surfaces need saturated prints. Ask whether pigment print, print behind acrylic or another process was chosen. A look at photo and ink helps compare. Edition and signature should be named.
