Blur as a craft
Soft focus from the camera, not from the computer: photographic impressionism relies on movement and light in the instant of capture. If you want to buy such photographs for sale, you can also look between 1,000 and 2,000 euro.
With long shutter times, a panned camera or a filter in front of the lens, pictures emerge that tremble and glow. This blur is no flaw but intent. It takes experience, since not every attempt succeeds. The best shots are those where you can sense the photographer waited for the moment instead of building it afterwards.

Gentle pictures in the home
Where a room already carries a lot of pattern, these photos get lost. Choose a quiet wall and a wide, light frame. Motifs with water, reeds or fog look especially good next to natural materials such as linen and wood.
Paper and pigments
With soft gradients, paper decides depth. Ask about the printing type, pigment or baryta, and about signature and edition. Metal prints are an option too if you like gloss.
