Haze and cut
Where spray paint does without any object, gradient and edge become the actual subject. Anyone looking at abstract spray paint paintings from 1,000 to 2,000 euro for sale wants large color spaces with quiet presence.
An abstract spray picture lives on the contrast between soft haze and the clean cut that masked areas leave behind. Several color layers create depth with no motif needed. The calmer the gradient, the larger the surface seems.

Size and room effect
For originals from 1,000 to 2,000 euro, larger formats are no rarity. Abstract spray pictures open up rooms, especially above a sofa or dining table. Choose the color to suit the light: cool blues calm, warm oranges bring warmth into gray rooms.
Clarifying condition and authenticity
Ask about signature, dating and support as well as the sealing of the surface. On large spray pieces, fine traces of dust on matte paint are normal and can often be removed with a soft brush. A picture without glass shows the paint most directly.
