Originals in this selection, Urban and Pop, Spray Paint, 1,000 to 2,000 euro.
Spraying on a grand scale
Pop from the can has swing: bold contours, glowing fields and motifs that recall posters and facades. Anyone looking at pop paintings in spray paint from 1,000 to 2,000 euro for sale finds large formats with street energy.
Urban motifs, lettering and figures benefit from the surface this price range often offers. Stencil work and freehand spraying alternate, and contours are traced with brush or marker. That produces layers that open up only gradually as you keep looking.

Handling series and editions
Pop motifs like to appear in variants. Ask whether the picture is one of a kind or part of a series, and whether it is numbered and signed. With spray paint originals every surface remains slightly different, which sets the work clearly apart from a reproduction.
Room for strong colors
Such pictures need space around them. A white or gray wall lets the colors stand. Choose the spot so you can see the picture from a few yards away, since graphic impact appears only with distance.
