Flat and still alive
Pure acrylic gives graphic painting the opaque surface and hard edge that lettering and illustration require. You can look at graphic paintings in acrylic for sale if clear contrasts and consistent lines matter to you.
An evenly painted surface looks graphic, yet you still see the hand: slight brush marks, tiny deviations in the edge, tones mixed by hand. That is what separates an original from a digital print.

Typography and picture
When letters become the motif, arrangement counts. Spacing, sizes, rotations and overlaps create rhythm. View the picture from several distances: from afar the overall structure counts, up close the form of each single character.
Care and distance
Surfaces of pure acrylic can be freed from dust with a soft, dry brush. Damp cloths may leave glossy streaks. Keep away from kitchen grease vapor and from radiators so the surface stays even. The clearer the lines, the more a crooked hang on the wall stands out, so a spirit level is worth using when you put it up.
