White is not just white
In reduced pictures nuances count. A warm white feels soft, a cold white almost technical, a gray white muted. Notice how the color looks in your room, because wall, light and furniture change the impression. A test photo helps.
Care and space
Matte surfaces are more sensitive to fingerprints. Touch the picture only at the frame or the back. Remove dust with a soft, dry brush. Ask whether a protective varnish was applied and what hanging the artist envisions.
