Originals in this selection, Acrylic, collage on canvas, Material Acrylic, 2,000 to 5,000 euro.
Glue and paint in one
Scraps of paper, fabric, sheet music or newspaper edges: in a collage the canvas becomes an archive, and acrylic holds it all together. If you want acrylic collages on canvas for 2,000 to 5,000 euro for sale, you are looking at pictures with a tangible relief.
Acrylic gel and medium work as adhesive, varnish and painting medium all at once. The paper is embedded, painted over, uncovered again. The result is a surface where found pieces and painted passages blend without an obvious border. Look closely and you find pasted-in scraps of script, lines or patterns that lay a narrative under the picture without spelling it out.

Close up, far away
Collages reward closeness. Hang them so the layers can be read from about a yard away, ideally at eye level. Raking light from the side makes the paper edges show up as fine shadows.
Durability and price band
For originals between 2,000 and 5,000 euro, it is worth asking which papers were used. Acid-free materials yellow more slowly, and a final varnish with UV protection preserves the colors of the pasted pieces. Also ask about the depth of the relief so that a frame or shadow gap safely accommodates the distance to glass or wall.
