Fast, but not flat
Acrylic is water-based, low in odor and dries within minutes, which lets painters build layer on layer without waiting. If you are after acrylic pictures for sale in the price range of 2,000 to 5,000 euro, compare painting style and support first.
Because drying time is short, gradients are an art of their own. Painters who master them show it in soft skies or gentle skin tones. Those who prefer hard decisions use the same trait for crisp contours and opaque fields. That is how pictures arise that look painted in one go, although they often consist of many carefully planned layers, as you can tell at the edges.

Support: canvas, wood, paper
Acrylic bonds to canvas, wood panels, aluminum composite and paper. Each support changes weight and surface. Wood feels more compact and heavier, canvas more flexible. The description should say what was painted on.
Placing 2,000 to 5,000 euro
At this level, original works often come in generous formats and with a pronounced personal handwriting. Plan the wall too: a picture wider than a yard needs space to work.
