Gesture and chance in conversation
Abstract painting with rust shows how close color and corrosion lie to one another. You can find paintings of this kind for sale here if you want a mix of brush gesture and material trace.
A broad black brush pull meets a zone of rust orange that ran without intention. This mix is where the appeal lies: you recognize the artist’s hand and at the same time the traces of water and time. The surface feels built and grown together.

Rooms with calm
A balanced rust picture suits rooms that tolerate little decoration. Against a white wall it looks clear, against gray like a piece of harbor. Hang it low enough that it speaks to the sofa or the dining table.
While choosing
See whether the picture is mounted firmly and the rust sealed. Ask for the dimensions in centimeters as well. With this combination in particular, ask which part came first, the brushstroke or the rust. That decides how fine the transitions are and how the picture changes in raking light.
