Bleeding as a method
Watercolor can be fog or skin or sky, and in Surrealism it is all of them at once. You can find surreal mixed media with watercolor for sale here if you like sheets that do not explain but suggest.
Water-based paint flows wherever the paper is damp, leaving room for chance. Surreal artists use this to let shapes emerge, which they then complete with pencil or collage into figures or spaces. Often you only recognize figures and things after a while: a patch of color becomes a hand, a line a horizon. This emerging from chance is the heart of watercolor Surrealism.

Work with a drawing emphasis is under drawing. If you start with a smaller budget, look at pieces under 500 euro. Note that works on paper need protection from light.
