Structure as picture
Abstract plaster does without subject and lets material, form and shadow speak. Abstract mixed media with plaster from 2,000 to 5,000 euro is for sale if you look for a wall object that carries without a motif.
In abstraction the surface itself becomes the subject: trowel marks, cracks, impressions and edges. Plaster takes up these signs and fixes them. White fields with light pigments or dark glazes show how finely a relief can be modeled.

Bright, quiet, sculptural
A white relief works in modern rooms like a quiet accent. In dark rooms it strengthens contrast. Plan for side light, because otherwise the form gets lost. Lit from the front, plaster looks flat, from the side it unfolds its profile.
Notes for this tier
From 2,000 to 5,000 euro these are mostly large, carefully built reliefs. Ask about weight, support and hanging, and about care notes from the artist. Plaster tolerates neither damp nor wiping, a soft brush is enough.
