Stage without players
Painting in the metaphysical vein builds rooms like stage sets, quiet and almost empty. Metaphysical mixed media painting with oil pastel is for sale when you like mystery and clarity.
Long shadows fall across empty squares, facades stand like backdrops, objects turn into signs. With oil pastel the light turns soft, the shadows stay rich, and colors take on something of the evening. Composition and perspective repay a look too: a low horizon, an empty center, an oversized shadow. Such decisions give the picture tension, and they stay in memory once you have seen the piece.

In your home
A metaphysical picture gives a room depth without filling it. It goes with minimalist furnishing and old-building walls alike. A slim wooden frame, a bit of distance from the ceiling, enough room to step back.
To consider
For painting on paper with oil pastel a mat makes sense, while board or canvas suit a shadow-gap frame. Ask about the support, the fixing and the dimensions.
