Painterly and graphic
Pop motifs in color, boldly placed and worked with brush or chalk: that is urban painting with oil pastel. Urban and pop mixed media painting with oil pastel is for sale when color is allowed to be loud and friendly.
The mix of stripes, planes and poster-like figures demands clear decisions. Oil pastel brings warmth to such forms, because each edge frays slightly and each tone shines a little greasy. The mix of street and studio often shows in details: a sprayed number, a stripe of tape, a piece of lettering. Such elements are part of the hand and belong to the effect.

Place in a home
Pop painting is not shy. One sheet above the sofa is enough as a focal point, a pair on both sides of a window works like a frame. Choose slim single-color frames so that color leads.
Notes
With lively motifs, look at the edge treatment: if the paint runs to the edge, the piece needs a frame without a mat. Ask for the exact dimensions.
