Originals in this selection, Drawing, Modern, under 500 euro.
Ink, oil and paper
The classic drawing in a modern vein is a sheet where handwork stays visible: corrections, ink blots and hatching that overlap one another. Modern drawings for sale under 500 euro show ink, graphite or oil paint as the trace of the material.
On ink sheets the range runs from a deep black field to a net as fine as spider silk. With oil paint on paper you get an unusual mix: drawing in construction, painting in sheen. Both ask for a suitable, primed or heavy paper.

A drawing as counterweight
Next to color-heavy paintings or strong furniture, a black and white sheet works like a pause. Hang it centered on a calm stretch of wall and give it a plain wood or metal frame.
Cross-check before buying
The under 500 euro tier among originals often covers study sheets and small to medium formats. Compare dimensions, paper details and the signature note, and with oil, ask whether the paper was prepared.
