This painting is a very special piece. When I started it a year before completing it, I never imagined it would turn out this way. It sat in my studio for a long time, but I could never quite bring myself to listen to what it was demanding of me. However, it seems that the initial idea I struggled with for so long has won out in the end. It was meant to be, and I had to embrace this familiar theme and express it in my own way.
