Original artwork description

What will remain? Will anything else remain on Earth after humanity? I believe that our planet will survive. Perhaps not forever, but it will certainly outlive us. We are just a brief chapter in the story of the cosmos. All man-made things will disappear sooner or later, one by one. Nature will assert its power and reclaim the planet.
It is these thoughts that have led me to create this work of art. It is my vision of what a city looks like after it has lost its citizens over time. Only a reflection is visible in the structure — a fading memory of particles — but in reality, the skeletons of former buildings and dust remain.
After this phase, nature can regenerate, making this planet a more stable and beautiful place.  Can we prevent this dystopia from happening?
