Everyone may and should make their own thoughts and interpretations about my works of art. I do not dictate anything, I do not want to direct. Here is my personal interpretation of the work.
The shadows dance on the canvas, a silent ballet of light and darkness. Every application of paint, every stroke tells a story, whispers of past dreams and unfulfilled longings. The white forms seem to strive for freedom, while the black embraces and holds them.
Perhaps this is an image of the inner struggles we all go through. One person less, the other more. The sharp edges symbolize the obstacles that must be overcome in order to achieve the goals in life – even if it is only the pursuit of happiness. The vertical stripes could represent the inexorable passage of time as we search for answers.
There is a message in this work: we are all part of an abstract painting, each of us a brushstroke on the canvas of life.
