The Rocky Mountains of Colorado inspired me to paint this landscape. Wildflowers, the golden light of sunset, open prairies, and rolling mountains are essential elements that appear in much of my work. Perhaps it’s because of the sense of peace these scenes convey to me. It’s a feeling I hope to convey to viewers who, like me, love the rural lifestyle and have a deep love for nature.
