Muro (Wall) is born from a close gaze on an anonymous urban building, captured in its silent complexity. The tram wires, the street lamp and its shadow draw an oblique geometry across the textured surface, while the purple and black checkerboard pattern bursts in at the top, transforming the sky into a purely painterly element. I create this tension between the real and the artificial with acrylics and sand on canvas (60×80 cm).
