The Story:
Styled in the visual language of Dutch Golden Age painting, “Scrolling Time” reflects on 21st-century digital rituals. It captures our modern trance: where we once meditated over a flower, we now "chew" through news, inflating information like bubbles while sinking into the oblivion of the infinite feed.
Through Cybernetic Animism, Inna Etuvgi explores the digital signal as a new natural element. This work is a pointed commentary on the fragility of time—showing how our days slip away, one swipe at a time, blurring the boundary between presence and the digital code.
