The work depicts an ancient archer holding the tesserste orb in his left hand. Externally inspired by Tolkiens Nazgûl, it inverts their conceptual meaning, from threatening and negative to protective. The title means defender of the world. The sculpture is made using assembly techniques, with an internal iron skeleton and external layers of epoxy resin and trachytic rock powder. A solid iron structure is incorporated underneath to anchor it to the base. Its dimensions are: height 300 cm, width 220 cm, depth 140 cm. The weight is approximately 300 kg, but this is an estimate.
