This painting is inspired by the architectural atmosphere of Milan and by the quiet beauty of its everyday urban details. Fragments of the city, including architectural structures, geometric patterns and textured surfaces, are reassembled into a composition that moves between reality and abstract interpretation.
The street sign “Via Valtorta”, a real street in Milan, introduces a recognizable reference while columns, arches and patterned façades intersect and overlap, creating layered perspectives and a dynamic visual rhythm.
My work develops through an exploration of the everyday city. I collect urban fragments through notes, sketches, photographs and digital deconstructions that gradually evolve into painting.
The artwork is created with acrylics combined with natural materials such as sand and earth, which give the surface a tactile and textured quality. These materials echo the raw textures of urban walls and architectural surfaces, strengthening the connection between the painting and the physical city.
The painting is hand signed by the artist, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and presented in a black wooden frame. The artwork is ready to hang.
