The first of a series of limited edition prints. I had been listening to the underlying rhythms of music - the base, percussion and melodic structures beneath the melody. Scattered around the house and studio I amassed a cache of small sketches made while listening intrigued to the harmonic repetition of backing vocals. This work, printed in my studio, is a single intaglio printing from a hand carved cardboard ‘plate’, varnished for longevity.
