In nature mimicry is for survival. In order to get noticed you may have to imitate to attract!
This year there have been many butterflies to be inspired by.
This artwork was made in stages through the technique of screen-print:
First the colour is painted for the 'wings", then the solid background, followed by the delicate 'lace' areas with a final varnish over the top to make these standout.
