Care and placement
Granite is robust but not invulnerable: in frost, water and edges can cause chipping if the stone had cracks beforehand. So ask about condition and treatment. Water and a soft brush suffice for cleaning. Best place the sculpture on firm, level ground that spreads the weight. Setting it up works best with two people, straps and a base that carries the weight.
