Gestures on the print
Expressionist photography in acrylic is loud, dense and physical: black shadows, glowing color, traces of the hand. Expressionist acrylic photographs are for sale for anyone to whom expression matters more than smoothness.
When acrylic paint is set on the print with palette knife or brush, the gesture of painting mixes with the moment of the shot. Behind acrylic glass, by contrast, contrasts look harder and colors glow more, because the layer bundles them like a lens.
