Field of color instead of motif
A single color, a strip of light, nothing else: color photography can be this spare. Minimalist color photography for sale at 1,000 to 2,000 euro calls above all for a look at color depth and the treatment of the margins.
In minimalist color photography the color itself becomes the subject. A sandy beach under a pale sky or a pool in deep blue conveys space and temperature with very little. The print has to render the surfaces without streaks or banding. Even a single change of color within the picture, from blue to gray at the horizon for instance, can be event enough.

Calm on the wall
A field of color acts as a resting point in a bright room. Choose a slim, neutral frame so the color does not have to compete with it. A spot near windows works as long as direct sunlight stays off it.
Questions before deciding
With images this reduced, paper surface and edition matter. Between 1,000 and 2,000 euro it makes sense to ask about the size, the printing process and the number of prints. A signature should be visible.
