Several viewpoints in one picture
Cubism breaks a subject into planes and puts it back together: a face, a guitar, or a city appears from several sides at once. Cubist paintings under 500 euro for sale come, for instance, as acrylic on canvas or in acrylic.
Cubist painting breaks forms into facets that overlap and shift against each other. The eye assembles the subject itself. Colors often stay muted, with brown, gray, and ochre carrying the structure. A shape like a circle or triangle often returns at different sizes.

Good for rooms with lines
Geometric pictures suit rooms with clear edges: shelves, window frames, doors. The rhythm of the facets plays with these lines. A picture above a desk keeps the eye awake. Against a white wall the structure stands out especially clearly.
Recognizing the build
Check that the planes are cleanly set off and that a subject stays recognizable. Small to mid-sized canvases are usual for originals under 500 euro. The listing should name technique, size, and signature. A photo of the back shows how carefully the picture is built.
