Paint doing the gluing
Acrylic and collage get along well, because the paint works as glue and as a protective skin at once. Acrylic paintings with collage elements on paper are for sale here in the 1,000 to 2,000 euro range, and the paint gives the glued pieces one shared surface.
Acrylic medium holds paper strips, scraps of fabric or sheet music in place, and you can brush a glaze over all of it. Foreign material and painting then fuse into one field. A matte or glossy final coat decides whether the picture feels calm or lively.

Build and durability
With paper as the support, the description is worth reading closely. How thick is the sheet, is it mounted, and does the collage sit firmly? A backing of acid-free board keeps the sheet flat and protects it from creases while hanging.
Between 1,000 and 2,000 euro
This tier often brings layered pieces of decent size. Keep them out of constant light, since paper fragments age at different speeds. A frame with a spacer strip lets raised areas breathe and keeps the glass at a distance.
