Originals in this selection, Acrylic on canvas, Gesso, 1,000 to 2,000 euro.
Ground and paint bond
Acrylic and gesso are siblings: both water-based, both made to carry layers. Anyone seeking acrylic paintings on canvas with gesso from 1,000 to 2,000 euro for sale finds pictures with rich, even application of paint.
Acrylic gesso adheres particularly well to canvas and stretches with it without cracking. Acrylic paint sits firmly and long above it. Painters vary the surface: smooth for fine detail, rough and grainy for structure, with brush marks for movement.

Price range and format
Between 1,000 and 2,000 euro, originals commonly include large canvases. Ask for dimensions including frame depth and measure your wall. Painted edges save the frame. If you want to frame, choose a plain floating frame.
Everyday care
Acrylic on gesso is relatively robust, yet the surface deserves protection. Avoid cleaning agents and damp cloths. A soft brush is enough for dusting. For questions about condition, a detail shot of the corners and the back helps.
