A room for silence
Large surreal paintings need calm around them, in the hanging and in the light. Choose a wall without distraction. Diffuse daylight and a place where people linger let the details emerge step by step. A slim frame in a muted color keeps the eye inside the picture without competing with the scene.
Thorough proof
Ask for certificate, signature, date, dimensions and information on origin. Sketches or studies, if available, complement the picture. Ask about varnish, condition and packaging so the work arrives safely and properly.
