Street in the stroke
Poster colors, comic shapes and consumer signs: urban and pop art takes the street as a picture source, and oil pastel suits it like a childhood marker. Urban and pop mixed media works with oil pastel are for sale in this price band for walls with attitude.
Oil pastel is loud and direct. Black contours, flat colors, overpainted signs and graffiti echoes can be laid down fast with it. Mixed technique adds spray paint, marker or poster scraps. Anyone looking for a sheet for a young adult’s room, a study or an eat-in kitchen is in the right place, since the motifs are approachable without being flat. Frame with a gap to the glass, because oil pastel never fully hardens.

A hang with a statement
Pop works tolerate closeness to furniture with clear shapes, to shelves full of books, or to records and posters. A plain black or white frame holds the energy together. Several sheets of equal size make a grid effect.
Detail questions
Ask about the durability of the colors, especially if spray paint or markers were involved, and about protective packing for shipping.
