Line over watercolor
Watercolor and lettering go together better than you might think: the water softens fields of color, the pen sets edges. You can find graphic mixed media with watercolor for sale under 500 euro if you want sheets with wordplay and linework.
On dried watercolor, ink or fineliner allows precise work. Typographic elements, signs or patterns get a soft cloud of color as their ground. You often see letter fragments, pictograms or hatching standing on a light color ground. Because watercolor stays transparent, the line seems anchored in the paper and feels very light despite the color.

What to expect from the price band
Under 500 euro, originals mostly include sheets, smaller formats and often work by young positions. For graphic mixed media that is a good frame, since paper formats are easy to hang.
Small series
Small sheets look good as a row, for example above a desk or on a hallway wall. Watch for even spacing and a uniform frame color. That turns several pieces into a calm group.
