Originals in this selection, Expressive and gestural, Material Watercolor, under 500 euro.
Wet in wet, hand in hand
A watercolor blot, set quickly and pulled on with the brush, holds movement before it passes. You can find gestural mixed media with watercolor for sale here under 500 euro if you appreciate spontaneous sheets with traces of drawing.
In gestural work, watercolor runs across the sheet while charcoal or ink bites into it. No stroke can be taken back. That makes the sheets lively, every trace shows a decision. You recognize the gesture in splashed drops, in broad brush pulls and in edges where the paint has dried. Often several passes lie on top of one another, glazing each other and giving the sheet depth.

Under 500 euro, originals commonly include works on paper and smaller formats. Gestural sheets work well at this size because they feel concentrated on a small surface.
How to display them
Hang several sheets in a row or as a group if the formats are similar. Plain wooden ledges emphasize the paper. Glass with a gap prevents damp spots from sticking to it.
