Plane as a decision
Modern painting with ink as the main ingredient shows plane, trace and material without decorative intent. Modern ink painting in mixed media for sale suits those who want pictures that feel direct and unfussy.
In modern painting the application is the picture. Ink is poured, spattered or pulled with broad brushes and remains as a stain, stripe or gradient. Acrylic and charcoal may add accents. What matters is that every placement stays deliberate.

Canvas or paper
Painters work on paper, which suits ink better, but also on primed canvas. Canvas works need no glass frame but are more sensitive to rubbing. Works on paper gain from a mat and distance from the glass.
Placing it
Modern paintings in ink are offered in various price classes, from the small sheet to the large format. Look at the dimensions and consider how much wall should stay free. Ask for signature, date and title in the listing.
