A picture from parts
Collage as a technique in the collage style: here scissors, glue and found pieces are the main tools. You can find mixed media collages for sale here, often with textile and in the tier from 2,000 to 5,000 euro.

Effect at home
Collages are lively pictures for places where people spend time: kitchens, studies, dining spots. They reward closeness, because there is much to discover. A light wall tone and a plain frame keep the variety from overwhelming.
Description and condition
Check which materials were used and how they are fixed. Old paper and delicate fabrics react to sunlight and humidity. Framed under glass or in a box frame, collages are best protected. A location where daylight changes makes sense, because then the same collage looks noticeably different morning and evening and stays interesting for a long time.
