Facets instead of surface
Cubist drawings break an object into planes and show it from several sides at once. You can buy cubist pencil drawings for sale from 1,000 to 2,000 euro if you want to pair geometry with warmth.
A face is profile and front view at once here, and an instrument is made of edges and arcs. The pencil suits this well: ruler-drawn straights sit next to free hatching, and each facet gets its own grey value. This is no contradiction but a technique: the strict grid holds the picture together, and the soft gradients inside it make it readable and alive.

Clear wall, clear furniture
Cubist sheets look strong next to calm furniture with straight lines. A narrow frame in metal or dark wood underlines the construction. A white mat leaves the angles free.
Watch the details
With strongly constructed drawings, orientation matters: ask whether the sheet has a set way of hanging and where the signature sits.
