One pencil, many steps
Graphite in a pencil is the classic pairing, and at this level it shows what discipline can achieve. You can buy pencil drawings in graphite for sale from 1,000 to 2,000 euro when you value technique and expression equally.
From hard H to soft B a whole scale is available, and good works use it deliberately. Light and dark zones are laid out separately and then joined. The sheet stays clear and still has a wide range of tone that never reveals itself to the viewer entirely at once.

Room for the sheet
A drawing at this level can take a prominent position. Hang it at eye level, with little competition around it. A frame in pale wood and a white mat make the graphite look cool and refined.
Things that help
Have the paper type and framing described to you. If you are interested, use the Open to offers option and ask when details on a sheet are missing.
