Originals in this selection, Material Pastel, under 500 euro.
What this tier can offer
Under 500 euro is where pastel begins: a small format, a single object and a paper that carries the color are enough for a picture of your own. Pastel drawings under 500 euro for sale can be found in the technique pastel or with a look at expressive work.
In this price class, small to medium formats are usual, often studies from nature or young hands still finding their language. An apple, a meadow, a face are enough as a subject when light and color are right. Pastel makes that simplicity vivid, because colors mix right on the paper.

Plan the framing early
A frame with glass can make up part of the cost, so factor it in from the start. Standard sizes save money if you skip custom framing. Look at paper type and whether the sheet is fixed: both decide how long the color stays as fresh as when you bought it.
Protecting the sheet from light
Pastel colors fade at different speeds depending on pigment. Avoid spots by south-facing windows and choose a wall that gets only raking light. Even an inexpensive sheet then lasts for years.
