The first stroke
Graphite on sketch paper is perhaps the purest form of drawing: a thought, a line, a sheet. You can buy graphite sketches for sale under 500 euro here if the start of an idea matters more to you than its result.
Graphite sketches preserve what later often disappears: guide lines, false starts, corrections. The pencil leaves a trace that is firm and mobile at once. Whoever looks at such sheets watches the thinking. The paper tells part of the story too, whether through perforation, a slight tint or the margin that came away from the sketchbook.

Framed for under 500 euro
Sketches are common at this price level and suit small wall areas. A slim object frame with a shadow gap makes the sheet look inlaid. Several sketches side by side look like an open notebook.
A look at details
Ask whether a sheet comes from a sketchbook and whether remnants of binding or perforation are visible. They belong to the character but can affect the framing.
