Saint-Guilhem le désert is listed among the most beautiful villages in France. It was built around the Gellone Abbey- which you can see on the left-village a treasure of Languedoc Roman art, founded more than a thousand years ago in the Hérault gorges. In the background we can make out the cliffs of the 'Cirque de l'Infernet'. I also tried to feature the lovely colors of the vegetation in the foreground. Painted on Arches 100% cotton 300g paper, this work is perfectly framed (see photo) and ready to hang.
