This oil on canvas was started in situ by the Mosson River in Grabels (south of France) and finished in my studio. It shows an old mill on the river, seen through the branches of the trees along it. When you look closely a fisherman can be seen through the foliage. It was painted with brushes and pallet knife in an impressionist style, In this work I tried to convey the peaceful atmosphere of a place I love. It is ready to hang and due to its size does not really need a frame. The sides are painted black for presentation.
