The painting depicts an allegory of Time that has stopped its activities, the fallen hourglass, the put away scythe. Time stands still for the study of numerous texts and books.
The work is made of engraved plexiglass and coated with pigment mixed with linseed oil; the back is painted with industrial varnish.
The work has been exhibited in several shows in Naples, Italy.
The painting is part of the mitos series, consisting of 19 works, including paintings, sculptures, and murals.
