Bar Atlantic originates from an anonymous urban interior, one of those spaces we pass through without stopping. I worked on the chromatic geometry of the environment: the flat green column, the blue ceiling, the ochre polka-dot wall and the terracotta floor articulate into overlapping planes with no illusionistic depth. The table and stools occupy the scene as silent presences. The emergency exit sign in the upper corner is the only element that recalls the original context.
The mixed media surface carries a tactile quality that photography does not fully render: color is applied in layers, with visible material variation up close.
