In this work, Ive fused acrylic, pencil, embroidery, and resin to capture the vibrant essence of Fauvism with touches of Impressionism and Pop Art. I sought to represent the dynamism of daily life using bold colors and expressive forms. The visual and tactile textures of the materials enhance the sensory experience, inviting the viewer to explore every detail and find their own meaning in the interplay of figurative and abstract elements. This piece celebrates movement and color, perfect for enlivening any space with its energy and joyful spirit.
The idea of coming and going is a constant in our lives. The ship depicted is one of those that carried travelers to the Americas in search of a better life. Then, triumphant, they always thought of returning. We have something of the nomadic and the sedentary in us; we come and go, we explore, but we like to return home.
