In this abstract painting, I let my sensitive side run free.
A touch of beige and white envelops the colorful lower layers. I love to first express all my feelings with my favorite colors, then to veil them again, no longer visible to everyone, but still there. I don't hide them outright, but I also don't want my feelings immediately laid bare for everyone to see.
The painting is covered with a creamy white layer and radiates peace and tranquility.
When I was sanding down parts of the last coat, the colors beneath come through softly, almost like memories resurfacing. They don’t return exactly as they were; they come back changed, gentler, filtered by time.
This painting has multi layers of acrylic paint on canvas making this artwork textural. The canvas is stretched over professionally made wooden stretcher bars.
The sides are painted so the art work is ready to hang.
