This painting is named after an ancient cave in Malta and tries to capture its mystical atmosphere.It has a very textured surface which gives it a very earthy feel in the lower part of the painting (sand+paste) and a more ethereal atmosphere in the blue part of the painting (impasto paste+paint). The close up photo’s give a better impression of the multiple-layered surfaces.The sides of the painting are the same colours as the front. The painting is varnished, ready to hang and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.This painting will be packaged in a cardboard box with an inner casing for maximum protection. Customs clearance is included in the shipment cost.
